The Results of Kartini Contest 1996
The Kartini Contest has aired in April 1996. The contest was for remembering Kartini, an Indonesian woman hero from Jepara, Central Java, Indonesia. The contest was arranged by ORARI Region Central Java, P.O. Box 1087 Semarang 50010. The office of ORARI Region Central Java is in Simpang Lima Plaza, Floor 7th, Suite 28, Semarang 50241, or P.O. Box 1218 Semarang 50012, telephone (024) 413346. Partisipants were members of ORARI, SWLers can joint, too.
Partisipants were devided into two categories : single operators, and multi operators who operate station clubs, band : HF 80 meter 3.805 - 3.900 MHz, VHF 2 meter 144.380 - 145.800 MHz, mode : phone. The results of the contest has defineted by the Arranger of the Organization of Amateur Radio Indonesia Region Central Java No.04/SKJ/JTH/VII/96 about the Winner of Kartini Contest 1996, dated Semarang, August 1, 1996, signed by the Chairman Udjuwolo, S.H., YB2DTQ, and the Secretary R. Soenarto, YB2DVI.

The Kartini Contest 1997
In 1997, the Kartini was launched again. The contest was from Saturday, April 19, 12.00 UTC to Sunday, April 20, 17.00 UTC. The rule of the contest has been sent to 300 members and SWLers. The contest was supported by YB2BKJ, Hadi Susilo in Kudus, and also YB2JOY, Moelyadi Pratomo, Kudus.
